1. Secure Transaction System
Doully.io acts as a neutral third party to ensure the security of every transaction. We exclusively use PayPal for all financial operations, including service purchases and expert payouts. All payments are held in our secure Escrow system until the work is delivered and approved.
2. For Experts (Freelancers)
We only succeed when you do. Listing your services is free, and fees are only applied to successful sales.
- Platform Commission: A flat 15% fee is deducted from the total price of every completed order.
- Example: If a service is sold for $100, your net earnings will be $85.
- Security Clearance Period: Once the Employer approves your delivery, the funds enter a 14-day clearance period. This is a standard security measure to prevent fraud and handle potential bank disputes.
- Withdrawal Threshold: You can request a payout as soon as your “Available Balance” reaches $50.
- Payout Method: Payouts are sent “On-Demand” to your registered PayPal email.
- Processing Time: Once requested, our team reviews and sends the funds within 2 to 3 business days.
3. For Employers (Clients)
- Service Fee: To cover PayPal’s transaction encryption and platform maintenance, a 5% service fee is added at checkout.
- Protection: Your money is never sent directly to the Expert at the start. It is held by Doully.io and only released after you confirm the project meets the agreed-upon standards.
4. Refunds & The Internal Wallet
In the event of a successful refund or a dispute won by the Employer:
- Funds are returned to the Employer’s Internal Wallet.
- Usage: Wallet funds can be used immediately to hire other Experts or purchase any service on Doully.io.
- Non-Withdrawable: Please note that refunded credits in the wallet are non-withdrawable to external PayPal accounts and must be spent within the platform.
5. Important Notices
- PayPal Fees: Users are responsible for any additional fees charged by PayPal for receiving money or currency conversion.
- Account Accuracy: You must provide a valid and verified PayPal email address. Doully.io is not liable for funds sent to an incorrect email provided by the user.
